About the rallySunday 28 June - Sunday 12 July 2026Join fellow Boundless members for an exciting camping and caravanning trip to France this summer. This two week getaway is a fantastic opportunity to travel with friends and family, visit Paris, and experience the rich history, culture, and charm that France has to offer. We will be camping in the riverside town of Melun, set along the beautiful River Seine. This peaceful and scenic location offers the perfect balance between relaxation and exploration, with riverside walks, shaded picnic spots, and lovely views right on your doorstep. The campsite is just a short walk from the town centre, where you will find local markets, traditional cafes, bakeries, and a welcoming French atmosphere. Melun itself is steeped in history, with roots dating back to Roman times, and is known for its charming streets and relaxed pace of life. It also makes an ideal base for exploring the wider region. The nearby Forest of Fontainebleau offers excellent walking opportunities, while the famous Château de Fontainebleau is well worth a visit for its stunning architecture and beautiful gardens. For those wanting to explore further afield, Paris is only around 30 minutes away by train, making day trips into the capital quick and easy. Whether you choose to visit world renowned museums, stroll along the boulevards, enjoy a coffee at a street side cafe, or simply take in the sights, there is something for everyone to enjoy. With plenty of time to explore, relax, and socialise, this trip offers something for both first time visitors and those who know the area well. It is a wonderful opportunity to make new friends, discover new places, and enjoy a memorable summer experience together. |

Camping and caravanning rallies are a relaxed and friendly way for Boundless members to come together, meet new people and enjoy shared interests. Locations of the rallies can range from Wales, to Bristol, to France and new faces are always welcome.
In most cases, yes. Guests are welcome at rallies, as long as one person attending is a Boundless member. There may be occasional exceptions, it’s always best to reach out and ask. You can used the contact details on the group’s home page or in the ‘How to book’ section of the event page.
Yes – we’d love that! We are always looking for new volunteers to help create moments for members.
