About the tripJoin fellow Boundless members for a relaxing seaside break in Weston-super-Mare in February 2028, a lovely way to brighten up the winter months and enjoy a change of scenery. Following several years of enjoyable breaks, we are heading back to this popular seaside town, staying at the Sandringham Hotel, which enjoys an enviable seafront location with beautiful views of Weston-super-Mare’s coastline and the famous Grand Pier. The hotel is perfectly placed for exploring the seafront and local attractions, with the Winter Gardens Pavilion just a short stroll away. Our stay includes dinner, bed and breakfast, along with evening entertainment at the hotel, giving us plenty of opportunity to relax, enjoy good food and socialise with fellow members. There will also be a special half-price bar promotion on two of the nights, making it even easier to enjoy a drink together. There is plenty to see and do in Weston-super-Mare during your stay. Take a stroll along the promenade, visit the iconic Grand Pier, enjoy the traditional seaside atmosphere or browse the shops in the town centre. You could also explore the marine lake, which offers year-round safe swimming, or simply take in the fresh sea air and enjoy the lovely coastal views. Whether you fancy a leisurely wander, a spot of sightseeing or simply relaxing at the hotel and enjoying the entertainment, this break offers a great opportunity to escape the February routine, meet up with friends and enjoy a little seaside sunshine. |

Do I have to join this social local group to attend an event?
Any Boundless member can attend events hosted by any group, wherever they’re based.

I’ve never been to a social event before, what can I expect?
Social events are a relaxed and friendly way for Boundless members to come together, meet new people and enjoy shared interests.
Activities vary from group to group and can include anything from a museum visit or pub lunch to a guest speaker talk or games night. Groups are always pleased to welcome new faces.
Can I bring a guest with me to the event?
In most cases, yes. Guests are welcome at social events, as long as one person attending is a Boundless member.
There may be occasional exceptions, it’s always best to reach out and ask. You can used the contact details on the group’s home page or in the ‘How to book’ section of the event page.
Is there a cost to attend an event?
This depends on the event. Many social events are free, particularly those held at local venues. Some events, such as trips or special activities, may have a cost, but you may also be able to take advantage of exclusive Boundless member discounts.
Can I organise or help at a social event?
Yes – we’d love that! We are always looking for new volunteers to help create moments for members. It’s best to complete our volunteer interest form so we can get in touch and chat about opportunities.
