About the talk

Join fellow Boundless members this June for an engaging and entertaining guest speaker event. William King returns, following his absorbing account of King Charles escaping capture at Boscobel House, to share a lively and intriguing talk on Wolverhampton. What really happened there? Is it simply a playful question, or does it hint at deeper and lesser known stories waiting to be uncovered?

In this talk, William will explore the history, characters and events that have shaped Wolverhampton, blending historical insight with anecdote and curiosity. From notable moments to unexpected tales, he will offer a fresh perspective on a place that may be more remarkable than it first appears.

Come along with your family and friends to enjoy an afternoon of discovery. You can also meet fellow members beforehand over a cup of tea or coffee and biscuits, making it a perfect opportunity to socialise as well as learn something new.
