About the treasure huntJoin fellow Boundless members for a fun-filled walking treasure hunt, an exciting way to uncover local history, socialise with friends (old and new), and get some fresh air and exercise along the way. What could be better? Following the success of previous treasure hunts, we will be returning to Newport. The route is a gentle stroll of approximately one mile through some of the greener areas of the town and perhaps catch a glimpse of some of the wildlife. There is one very short section of steps (upwards) that are not steep or difficult to tackle. On the day, you’ll receive a set of clues and directions to guide you around the area, leading you through hidden gems. The gathering point for exchange of stories and chat after the walk will be the New Inn at the corner of Audley Road and Stafford Road We will aim to meet at 7.30pm at the Main Long Stay Car Park in Newport (Audley Road entrance). The latest arrival and starting time will be at 7.45pm. Please bring a pen and a clipboard if you have one – the organiser will have some to loan. Everyone is welcome - bring family, friends, and your sense of adventure. The more, the merrier! |

Do I have to join this social local group to attend the event?
Any Boundless member can attend events hosted by any group, wherever they’re based.

I’ve never been to a social event before, what can I expect?
Social events are a relaxed and friendly way for Boundless members to come together, meet new people and enjoy shared interests.
Activities vary from group to group and can include anything from a museum visit or pub lunch to a guest speaker talk or games night. Groups are always pleased to welcome new faces.
Can I bring a guest with me to the event?
In most cases, yes. Guests are welcome at social events, as long as one person attending is a Boundless member.
There may be occasional exceptions, it’s always best to reach out and ask. You can used the contact details on the group’s home page or in the ‘How to book’ section of the event page.
Is there a cost to attend?
This depends on the event. Many social events are free, particularly those held at local venues. Some events, such as trips or special activities, may have a cost, but you may also be able to take advantage of exclusive Boundless member discounts.
Can I organise or help at a social event?
Yes – we’d love that! We are always looking for new volunteers to help create moments for members. It’s best to complete our volunteer interest form so we can get in touch and chat about opportunities.
