About the talkJoin fellow Boundless members this November for an inspiring and insightful talk from Derek Osborn. After retiring from teaching yoga on his 83rd birthday, Derek found himself with more time to pursue the many interests that have shaped his life. A former teacher of botany and zoology, as well as an environmentalist and landscape gardener, he has also played a role in developing adult education. In his so called retirement, he has returned to his passion for countryside and trail running, continued practising yoga, and even begun writing a book. Come along to share in Derek’s enthusiasm for life and enjoy the chance to meet other members over refreshments before the talk begins. Arrive from 7.30pm, with the talk starting at 8pm. New members are very welcome, along with family and friends. |

Social events are a relaxed and friendly way for Boundless members to come together, meet new people and enjoy shared interests.
Activities vary from group to group and can include anything from a museum visit or pub lunch to a guest speaker talk or games night. Groups are always pleased to welcome new faces.
In most cases, yes. Guests are welcome at social events, as long as one person attending is a Boundless member.

This depends on the event. Many social events are free, particularly those held at local venues. Some events, such as trips or special activities, may have a cost, but you may also be able to take advantage of exclusive Boundless member discounts.
