About the talkJoin fellow Boundless members this May for a fascinating and inspiring evening, as Emma Spenser shares the remarkable stories of the young women who served in the Women’s Land Army during WWII. Discover the challenges they faced, the triumphs they achieved, and the vital role they played in keeping the nation fed during a time of crisis. You may even find yourself wondering, did your mother, aunt, or grandmother take part in this extraordinary effort? Arrive early to enjoy a relaxed chat with other members before the talk begins at 8pm, with hot and cold drinks and a few biscuits to enjoy. If you have not attended a one of our events before, this is the perfect opportunity to come along, meet new people and learn something new. Feel free to bring family and friends too. Everyone is warmly welcome. |

Social events are a relaxed and friendly way for Boundless members to come together, meet new people and enjoy shared interests.
Activities vary from group to group and can include anything from a museum visit or pub lunch to a guest speaker talk or games night. Groups are always pleased to welcome new faces.
In most cases, yes. Guests are welcome at social events, as long as one person attending is a Boundless member.

This depends on the event. Many social events are free, particularly those held at local venues. Some events, such as trips or special activities, may have a cost, but you may also be able to take advantage of exclusive Boundless member discounts.
