About the talkJoin fellow Boundless members for an insightful talk this October. Simon Dell, a familiar and engaging speaker at Tamar Group events, will be exploring the history and stories of HMP Dartmoor. Often surrounded by myths and dramatic tales, this historic prison has a fascinating past, from its construction in 1809, its use for housing convicts and political prisoners, to its modern role in the prison system. Simon will separate fact from fiction and share intriguing stories, giving a unique insight into life inside one of Britain’s most famous prisons. Refreshments will be available on arrival.
