New Year’s Day Bathtub Race

Taking place on New Year’s Day in Poole Harbour, the annual New Year’s Day Bathtub Race sees creative teams competing for charity in homemade watercraft. The perfect way to blow away the cobwebs from the night before, this wacky event involves crews racing along the quay from The Customs House Steps to the Lord Nelson pub (rain or shine). And alongside the race, there’s also a unique chance to have a look at up to 100 classic cars in a display along the Lower High Street.
