Step into Heart of Africa, a vast 22-acre grassland habitat inspired by Central and East Africa. Watch giraffe, zebra, ostrich and antelope roam together across sweeping savannah plains, alongside smaller species like aardvarks, porcupines and pygmy mice. You’ll also find more than 30 vibrant bird species, including greater flamingos and black-cheeked lovebirds, while Hidden Savannah introduces you to Africa’s tiniest residents, from chameleons to naked mole rats.

Then wander through Madagascar, a walkthrough habitat where four species of lemurs leap freely among visitors, or head to Monsoon Forest, the UK’s largest tropical biodome, home to Sumatran orangutans, crocodiles and free-flying birds. From snow leopards and elephants to meerkats and orangutans, every corner of the zoo is alive with incredible creatures and immersive experiences.

• Children (3–15): £10.00 (Save £20.00 per ticket)
• Infants under 3: Free

That’s a 65% saving for adults and a 67% saving for children compared to on-the-gate prices. For a family of five (two adults and three children), that’s an incredible £115 saving on normal admission.

Tickets are limited and always sell out quickly, so book early to avoid disappointment. Our non-profit status means Boundless can subsidise your tickets and pass these huge savings directly to you.

Additional Tickets

Need a few more spaces for friends or extended family? No problem. If you’d like to purchase extra tickets beyond your five subsidised member tickets, we can offer them at a slightly discounted rate: £28 per adult and £20 per child. These additional tickets do not receive the full Boundless subsidy but still represent excellent value compared to standard entry prices.

For this event, the Boundless team will be there on the day to meet and greet you before you enter the zoo. You can pick up your passes and enter your free prize draw with us before enjoying the day.

Once inside, you are free to explore at your own pace, from the animal habitats and walkthroughs to the gardens, playgrounds and cafés.

Ticket Information

Boundless members can book up to five subsidised tickets per membership (two adults and up to three children). Tickets must be purchased in advance, no tickets will be available on the day.

This event is exclusive to Boundless members, and the booking member must attend with their guests, showing their membership card and ID on arrival.

Chester Zoo is easily accessible from the M56 and A41, with clear brown tourist signs on approach. The zoo is three miles north of Chester city centre and close to Chester railway station. Free parking is available on site.
