Step inside Bowood House and explore elegant rooms filled with fascinating objects, artwork and stories from the past. This is also where Joseph Priestley discovered oxygen, giving the house a real place in scientific history.
Outside is where Bowood really opens up. Wander through sweeping parkland, peaceful woodland paths and beautifully kept gardens, including the famous rhododendron walk and terraced lawns.
For families, this is an easy win. The adventure playground is one of the best in the UK with huge climbing frames, slides and plenty of space for kids to run around and let off steam.

Overview
While the Boundless team won’t be there on the day, a Boundless volunteer will be on site in the morning to ensure everything is running smoothly and ready for your arrival.
Simply show your Boundless e ticket at the main entrance and head straight in. Once inside you are free to explore the house, gardens and playground at your own pace.

Ticket Information
Boundless members can book up to five subsidised tickets per membership. Tickets must be purchased in advance. No tickets will be available on the day.
This event is exclusive to Boundless members and the booking member must attend with their guests. Membership card and photo ID may be requested on arrival.
Bowood House is extremely popular. Early booking is strongly recommended.
Parking information
Free on-site parking is available for all visitors, with the main car park located close to the admissions entrance and opposite the Treehouse Café. Accessible parking spaces are also available near the main entrance

How do I get there?
Bowood House and Gardens is located near Calne in Wiltshire with good road access from surrounding areas.
Where do I park?
Parking is available onsite and included with your visit.
What should I do when I arrive?
Go straight to the main entrance and present your Boundless e ticket. There is no need to check in with a Boundless team.
Can I bring guests?
Yes. Members can book tickets for up to four guests including children within their allocation.
What time does the event run?
The site opens at 10:30 am with last entry at 5:30 pm.
How do I get my tickets?
E tickets will be emailed within 24 hours of booking. Please check junk folders just in case.
Are tickets transferable?
No, they’re exclusive to Boundless members, and the booking member must attend with their guests.
Accessibility
Large areas of Bowood House and its grounds are accessible. Some historic spaces have restrictions. Please check the venue website for full details.
Can I bring my dog?
Only registered assistance dogs are permitted within the House and grounds.
