About the trip

Join fellow Boundless members for a relaxed day out combining a visit to Cheese on the Wey and a scenic walk at Frensham Little Pond.

The day begins at Cheese on the Wey, a small local business where we will enjoy a talk on the cheese making process and be shown around the working area. There will be the opportunity to taste a selection of cheeses, with the option to purchase any favourites to take home.

We will then move on to Squires Garden Centre, where there will be time to enjoy a light lunch at your own expense.

In the afternoon, we continue to Frensham Little Pond, a medieval man made pond originally created to supply fish for the Bishop’s table. Here we will enjoy a leisurely circular walk of approximately 2 miles along sandy and woodland pathways. The walk will be taken at a gentle pace to allow everyone to appreciate the scenery, finishing at the café on site.

Parking at Frensham Little Pond is managed by the National Trust and is free for members. For non members, payment can be made via the JustPark app, typically £4 for up to 2 hours or £6 for up to 4 hours. Please note mobile signal in the car park can be unreliable, so it may be necessary to complete payment later via the app. All parking and café costs are at your own expense.

Everyone is welcome to what promises to be a relaxed and enjoyable day out exploring local produce and the beautiful Surrey countryside.
