About the festivalFor the past three years, we have had a presence at the Harrowbeer 40s Weekend in Yelverton, and we are delighted to be back again this year! Our stand has been so well-received that we are repeating it, offering free tea and coffee along with a choice of a bacon bap or a vegetarian option at midday. The event takes place on Sunday 23 August from 10:00. Everyone is welcome, and we encourage you to come along and join fellow Boundless members for a fun day out with your family. If you would like a bap, please let us know in advance and remember to bring your Boundless membership card, as the free refreshments are for members and their guests only. The site of the old airfield is just north of Plymouth at Yelverton on the Tavistock Road. Parking is easy – just follow the signs and directions from the marshals. You can enjoy displays of military vehicles, veteran and classic cars, a static Rolls Royce Merlin engine (as used in Spitfires and Lancaster aircraft), and re-enactment groups representing British, American, and German forces. There will also be period entertainment and numerous stalls, all adding to the 1940s ambiance. |

Activities vary from group to group and can include anything from a museum visit or pub lunch to a guest speaker talk or games night. Groups are always pleased to welcome new faces.
In most cases, yes. Guests are welcome at social events, as long as one person attending is a Boundless member.

This depends on the event. Many social events are free, particularly those held at local venues. Some events, such as trips or special activities, may have a cost, but you may also be able to take advantage of exclusive Boundless member discounts.
