About the treasure huntJoin fellow Boundless members for a relaxed, light-hearted walking treasure hunt, starting from The Blue Boar in Eye, near Peterborough, from approximately 6:30pm to 7:00pm. Parking is available at the pub. If you’d like to arrive earlier, food will be available to purchase from 5:00pm. Menus are available online, though they may be subject to change in the coming weeks, with meals priced at around £14. If you do plan to eat beforehand, we can coordinate pre-orders to help things run smoothly for the staff, though this is entirely optional. There’s no need to book for the treasure hunt itself, just turn up and join in. Afterwards, there will be some informal nibbles, such as crisps, to enjoy together. The route will take us around the village on generally flat, well-maintained paths, with no hills but a few road crossings. Eye can be busy on the bypass side up until around 6:30pm, so it’s advisable to arrive via the McDonald’s roundabout at the eastern end of the bypass, after which traffic tends to ease. We look forward to a fun and sociable evening exploring the village together. |

Do I have to join this social local group to attend the event?
Any Boundless member can attend events hosted by any group, wherever they’re based.

I’ve never been to a social event before, what can I expect?
Social events are a relaxed and friendly way for Boundless members to come together, meet new people and enjoy shared interests.
Activities vary from group to group and can include anything from a museum visit or pub lunch to a guest speaker talk or games night. Groups are always pleased to welcome new faces.
Can I bring a guest with me to the event?
In most cases, yes. Guests are welcome at social events, as long as one person attending is a Boundless member.
There may be occasional exceptions, it’s always best to reach out and ask. You can used the contact details on the group’s home page or in the ‘How to book’ section of the event page.
Is there a cost to attend?
This depends on the event. Many social events are free, particularly those held at local venues. Some events, such as trips or special activities, may have a cost, but you may also be able to take advantage of exclusive Boundless member discounts.
Can I organise or help at a social event?
Yes – we’d love that! We are always looking for new volunteers to help create moments for members. It’s best to complete our volunteer interest form so we can get in touch and chat about opportunities.
