The Royal Albert Bridge carries trains across the estuary, while the Tamar Bridge, a 20th-century engineering achievement, carries road traffic every day. These structures are part of everyday life for thousands of people, yet few stop to consider the skill, history, and challenges behind their construction. This visit is a rare opportunity to discover the stories behind these remarkable bridges, as well as the Torpoint Ferry, another historic river crossing that has linked communities for generations.
