Marshalling Group
With volunteer marshalling groups nationwide, there are plenty of opportunities for members to take part, whether you’re completely new or already experienced.
Motorsport marshalling offers a unique behind‑the‑scenes view of race events, placing you right at the heart of the action. Roles include timekeeping, safety radio operation and providing essential support to event officials, all helping to ensure events run smoothly, safely and enjoyably for everyone involved.
Full training is provided, and beginners are paired with experienced marshals to build confidence and skills. It’s a rewarding way to enjoy motorsport, learn new skills and be part of a dedicated team delivering safe and successful events.

Any Boundless member can attend events hosted by any group, wherever they’re based. We recommend getting in touch with the group beforehand so they can share helpful details and give you a warm welcome. You’ll find contact details on the group’s home page or in the ‘How to book’ section of the event page.
Interest group events are a relaxed and friendly way for Boundless members to come together, meet new people and enjoy shared interests. Activities vary from group to group and can include anything from a museum visit or pub lunch to a guest speaker talk or games night. Groups are always pleased to welcome new faces.
In most cases, yes. Guests are welcome at interest events, as long as one person attending is a Boundless member. There may be occasional exceptions, it’s always best to reach out and ask. You can used the contact details on the group’s home page or in the ‘How to book’ section of the event page.
This depends on the event. Many social events are free, particularly those held at local venues. Some events, such as trips or special activities, may have a cost, but you may also be able to take advantage of exclusive Boundless member discounts.
