Coventry Transport Museum is located in Coventry city centre at Millennium Place, Hales Street, Coventry CV1 1JD. It is approximately a 15-minute walk from Coventry railway station. Most buses stop at Pool Meadow bus station or on Trinity Street, both around a 2-minute walk from the museum.

There is no parking at the museum itself as its a city centre venue. The nearest public car parks are Bishop Street, CV1 1JN and Belgrade Plaza, CV1 4AJ, both within walking distance. Charges apply.

Coventry Transport Museum offers wheelchair access to most parts of the museum, lift access to both floors, accessible toilets, step-free access and a small number of wheelchairs available for visitors to use on a first come, first served basis.
