Grampian Transport Museum

Located 45 minutes from Aberdeen in the historic village of Alford, Grampian is truly a hands-on museum where you can climb aboard many exhibits and get a real feel for the vehicles. You’ll also find push-button exhibits, presentations and displays that really bring the history of transport to life.

Catering for all the family, children will love getting their provisional licence as they learn to drive in the Junior Driving School. There’s a tearoom serving tasty treats throughout the day and you can even bring the family dog along.

The museum is open daily from 10am – 5pm from 30 March to 30 September, then 10am – 4pm until 27 October.

How do I get there?

The easiest way is by car, use postcode AB33 8AE for Sat Nav – there’s plenty of parking. There’s also a Stagecoach Bluebird service to the museum. Find out more here.
