About the rallyWednesday 2 June - Thursday 10 June 2027Join fellow Boundless members for an 8 night camping and caravanning group rally based near Carsington Water in Derbyshire, a fantastic setting for a sociable and relaxed getaway in the heart of the countryside. The rally offers an excellent opportunity to spend time with friends old and new, with plenty of space to unwind and enjoy group activities. The surrounding area is ideal for walking and cycling, with scenic routes around Carsington Water Reservoir and into the surrounding Derbyshire countryside. The reservoir itself, Carsington Water, is a popular destination offering wide open views, well maintained trails and a variety of outdoor activities. The location also provides easy access to the attractive local towns of Ashbourne and Matlock, both offering independent shops, cafés and traditional market town charm. Further afield, there are plenty of local attractions to explore throughout the Peak District area, making this an excellent base for those wishing to venture out each day. During the stay, members may also wish to visit the traditional Tissington Well Dressing, a unique local custom where village wells are decorated with intricate floral displays, offering a glimpse into one of Derbyshire’s most distinctive cultural events. Whether you prefer to relax at the campsite, enjoy leisurely walks, explore nearby cycling routes, or visit local attractions, this rally provides a flexible and welcoming base for all interests. Everyone is welcome to what promises to be a friendly and enjoyable extended stay in a beautiful part of Derbyshire. |
