About the rallyJoin fellow Boundless members for this year's summer rally to Denbighshire, Wales. The rally will be held just outside of Llangollen, adjacent to the Llangollen canal. Easy access by foot along the tow path or about 5 minutes by car or bus. The rally field is peaceful with beautiful views and walks direct from the site. Please note there is no electric hook up. The International Eisteddfod hosts musicians from around the world, and in this it's 80th anniversary plans to host well-known artists including Sir Bryn Terfel, Jools Holland and his Rhythm and Blues Orchestra woth many more to be announced. Keep an eye on the Eisteddfod website for details of which acts will be attending in 2027. The town comes alive with music and colourful costumes with inpromptu concerts on every corner and the Parade of Nations to celebrate to event. As well as The Eisteddfod events running throughout the rally period Llangollen Classic Transport Weekend is expected to return (to be confirmed) and there are opportunities for outdoor pursuits, steam train or horse drawn barge outings as well as lots of local cafes, restaurants and independent shops. The rally field is within easy reach of the stunning Pontcysyllte Aquaduct, a World Heritage Site, as well as the historic towns of Chester, Wrexham and Shrewsbury. The rally will be free and easy allowing you the freedom to enjoy the many events and places to visit and coming together on aoccasion to share experiences and a coffee or glass of wine. Everyone is welcome to join. |
