There’s plenty to do and see in Caernarfon. Caernarfon Castle is the most famous of all the many castles in Wales and boasts UNESCO World Heritage status. You can even walk along a small part of the walls which offers you some fantastic views over the town. Within the castle you can visit The Royal Welsh Fusiliers Museum and the Prince of Wales exhibition.

You could also immerse yourself in history, culture and nature as you explore one of North Wales’s finest parks, Parc Glynllifon. Perfect for all ages, dog friendly, and complete with an on-site café, playground and boutique shops.

Looking for something for the family, why not venture to Gypsy Wood Park a magical day for all ages. There is loads to see and do from exploring the wetlands, riding the woody’s railway or getting lost in gypsies maze.

Other places of interest include the Sygun Copper Mine, Pant Du Vineyard and Orchard, Quarry Hospital Museum and Caernarfon Railway Station. If you feel like exploring further, why not venture over to Mount Snowdon, you can hike or take the scenic train for some spectacular views.
