The Ipswich Group would like to invite you to another insightful talk.
Our speaker tonight is an official Tour Guide for Bury St Edmunds who, as a professional archaeologist, has looked into the town’s past in great detail. Tonight, however, he will take us on an illustrated tour through 1,000 years of the town’s history, from monks and martyrs to Saxon kings and Tudor queens, and from talking wolves and Magna Carta to Georgian chic and Mr Pickwick.
There will be tea, coffee and biscuits to follow the talk.
