About the event

7.30pm to 9.30pm, Wednesday 25 March 2026

Join The York Group at the Mercure York Fairfield Manor Hotel for their yearly AGM followed by a fascinating talk.

Any nominations for the Committee posts, or items to be included on the Agenda, should be sent to Janice Stace by email to be received no later than 11th March 2026.

The AGM will be followed by a talk from Duncan Burnett of Herd and Hive, who attends Acomb Market each month with among other things, a selection of honey for sale. He will talk about the various honeys they produce (with samples and produce for sale) together with their soap and salves, etc. The honey hives are scattered all around York and there are three beekeepers helping with the bees.

Free parking and complementary refreshments will be available.

All welcome.
