Join The York Group at the Mercure York Fairfield Manor Hotel for a fascinating talk - 'A Tale of Two Halves' by Maria Demkowicz.

This talk is about Maria’s father’s life journey: born in a small mountain village in southern Poland at the beginning of WWI, travelling via Siberia, the Middle East, and Italy, and finally settling in the Calder Valley. A story of two halves. It’s a very personal story.

Free parking and complementary refreshments will be available.

All welcome.
