About the Group
Bring out your competitive spirit and discover the adrenalin-fuelled fun of karting with the Boundless Karting Group.
Karting has been at the heart of Boundless motoring activities since the first CSMA karting event in 1986, from then we have gone from strength to strength. The Karting Group as we know it today was formed in 2008 with the idea of getting more people interested in the sport, by running grass-roots events for Boundless members and their guests. We have always tried to keep these as affordable as possible by operating on a not-for-profit basis and being run by volunteers.
All our events are ‘arrive-and-drive’ style, which means that karts and safety gear are included in the price and maintained by the venues. This removes costly overheads such as having to own and maintain your own kart and/or race gear.
We cater for individuals of all abilities, regardless of any prior experience in motorsport or karting. Our events are normally open to drivers from the age of 16 up, and prices range from just £27 for an evening event to £100 for an all-day London Championship meeting. Even if you don’t want to have a go yourself, we welcome spectators at all of our events. So, whether you’re a beginner or an expert, please come along and join in the fun with other karting enthusiasts.
Our current event range includes:
- The Boundless London Karting Championship (April to October)
- The Boundless Anglian Karting Series (May to September)
- The British Le Mans 24hr Karting Team Endurance Race (July)
Future events include:
- A Northern Championship (April to October)
- Further events at various indoor and outdoor kart tracks around the country
If you think you might be interested in being the local organiser for a new Karting event in your area, please get in touch with us or complete this online form.

Championships & Events
London Championship
The London Championship runs from March to October each year. This is our most prestigious and invigorating Championship held at the famous Buckmore Park and Rye House circuits (where Lewis Hamilton used to race Karts as a teenager!).
Each race day consists of two championship rounds, each with a number of practice sessions and sprint races. One in the morning before lunch and one in the afternoon after lunch. Each round will earn you points towards winning the championship title at the end of the year. There is no obligation to take part in all rounds, we welcome entries for each round regardless of prior participation.
The Championship is open to those of all abilities aged 16 or older. We welcome all members of Boundless and their guests, from first timers to seasoned veterans.
Details of upcoming rounds can be found here.
North London Championship Regulations
East Anglian Series
East Anglian karting events run from May to September. There is one sprint race and two team endurance races on the cards for 2018. The Endurance races take place at the East Anglia Karting Centre (North Pickenham) whilst the sprint race is held at Ellough Park Raceway.
The Championship is open to those of all abilities aged 16 or older. We welcome all members of Boundless and their guests.
Details of upcoming events can be found here.
Le Mans 24hr Team Endurance
Taking place each July on the Alain Prost circuit at the famous Le Mans Karting International venue in France, the Le Mans 24hr Team Endurance race is one of the pinnacles of British arrive & drive karting.
We have been taking part in this prestigious and competitive event since 2016, each year seeking to do better than the last. Taking place over a 3 day weekend (Friday to Sunday) participants will be strategically driving stints of around 1 hour 45 minutes each, to keep the number of refuelling stops to a bare minimum. This might sound intense, but we are happy to include drivers of all ages, abilities and experience levels who think they would be up for the challenge.
In 2017, a journalist from the Boundless Magazine came with us to compile an article about the event, you can read the article here. In 2018, Boundless Karting Group Team #1 won the Tracey Pope Sportsmanship Award for the way they handled a number of technical and mechanical difficulties throughout the race, having qualified well up the grid and being on course for a credible finish. The trophy is currently on display at the Cotswold Motoring Museum.
The specific event details for each year (once confirmed) will be available here. If you are interested or have any questions about the event, please send an email to karting@boundlesscommunity.co.uk as soon as possible, because we start making arrangements and forming teams up to 12 months in advance.
