Bring out your competitive spirit and discover the adrenalin-fuelled fun of karting with the Boundless Karting Group.
Karting has been at the heart of Boundless motoring activities since the first CSMA karting event in 1986, then when it’s gone from strength to strength. The Karting Group as we know it today was formed in 2008 with the idea of getting more people interested in the sport by running grass-roots events for Boundless members and their guests around the UK. We’ve always tried to keep these as affordable as possible by operating on a not-for-profit basis and being run by volunteers.
All our events are ‘arrive-and-drive’ style, which means that karts and safety gear are included in the price and maintained by the venues. This removes costly overheads such as having to own and maintain your own kart and/or race gear.
We cater for individuals of all abilities, regardless of any prior experience in motorsport or karting. Our events are normally open to drivers from the age of 16 up, and prices range from just £27 for an evening event to £100 for an all-day London Championship meeting. Even if you don’t want to have a go yourself, we welcome spectators at all of our events. So, whether you’re a beginner or an expert, please come along and join in the fun with other karting enthusiasts.
Our current events range include:
- The Boundless London Karting Championship (April to October)
- The Boundless Bristol Winter Karting Championship (October to March)
- The Boundless East Anglian Karting Series (April to October)
- The British Le Mans 24hr Karting Team Endurance Race (July)
Future events include:
- A Northern Championship (April to October)
- Further events at various indoor and outdoor kart tracks around the country

The London Championship runs from March to October each year. This is our most prestigious and invigorating Championship held at the famous Buckmore Park and Rye House circuits (where Lewis Hamilton used to race Karts as a teenager!).
Each race day consists of two championship rounds, each with a number of practice sessions and sprint races. One in the morning before lunch and one in the afternoon after lunch. Each round will earn you points towards winning the championship title at the end of the year. There is no obligation to take part in all rounds, we welcome entries for each round regardless of prior participation.
The Championship is open to those of all abilities aged 16 or older. We welcome all members of Boundless and their guests, from first timers to seasoned veterans
Bristol Winter Championships
The Boundless Bristol Winter Championship is a fun and friendly karting championship which takes place on weekday evenings at Absolutely Karting Indoor Kart Circuit in Fishponds, Bristol. The Championship consists of six rounds between October and March each year. Each round consists of a 15 minute practice/qualifying session, followed by two 15 minute races. As each round is a standalone event, there is no need to have taken part in previous rounds.
Details of upcoming rounds can be found here.

East Anglian Series
East Anglian karting events run from May to September. There is one sprint race and two team endurance races on the cards for 2018. The Endurance races take place at the East Anglia Karting Centre (North Pickenham) whilst the sprint race is held at Ellough Park Raceway.
The Championship is open to those of all abilities aged 16 or older. We welcome all members of Boundless and their guests.
Le Mans 24hr Team Endurance
We sent two Teams to France in 2018 to take part in the 24 Le Mans Karting Endurance held on the historic Circuit Alain Prost.
Team 1 had continued mechanical problems from the start which put them out of the running. But the organisers gave them the “Tracey Pope” Sportsmanship Award for the way they handled their difficulties, Team 2 came a very credible 29th.
Having completed a third attempt, the Boundless Karting group are ready to start planning the 2019 teams! The event is planned to take place 12 - 14 July 2019.
Do we send a Boundless Team to France for a fourth time or do we rest on our Laurels. Only you can tell us the answer to that conundrum for our future planning is very much driven by the number of volunteers who would like to tackle this 24 hour Karting Endurance in 2019.
By getting organised early the Karting group can take advantage of the very heavily discounted early booking price which applies up until Friday 1st December 2018. We therefore need to send our entries in as early as possible to ensure participation (we are aiming for October if we can). So if you think you would like to give it a whirl why not get in contact with the Karting Group to find out more: email@example.com
If we have sufficient volunteers to enter a Team(s) we will register the Team(s) and send you a Le Mans entry form, asking you for a deposit of £100. We can accept the rest of the £320 fee in installments. Please note that all this needs to be done before 1 October if possible.
2017 saw one of the Boundless Journalists attend Le Mans to meet the team and report on the race. Why not take a moment to check out what a fantastic event this was here.
