About this event
The Potton Poisoner
Join award winning podcaster Nat Doig for a gripping dive into one of the 19th century’s most shocking and hotly debated murder cases: the story of Sarah Dazley, infamously labelled “The Potton Poisoner.” Was she Britain’s first female serial killer… or a woman wrongfully condemned?
In this compelling online talk, Nat will unravel the life of Sarah Dazley and the crimes she was accused then ultimately convicted and hanged for. Together, you’ll sift through the evidence, rumours, and sensational Victorian reporting that shaped her fate. Did Sarah really poison two husbands and her infant child? Or were these tragic but all too common arsenic accidents of the era, misinterpreted through fear and prejudice?
Put on your detective hat and join Nat as you examine the clues, challenge assumptions, and decide for yourself whether Sarah Dazley was a cold blooded killer or the victim of a grave miscarriage of justice.
Prepare for an evening of mystery, history, and gripping true crime storytelling.
Boundless members, stay tuned for a chance to win a special prize!
