The Farnborough and Guildford Group is inviting you to join them for another fascinating talk.
Lorimer Burns, a Navy helicopter pilot and airline pilot, has previously given us very entertaining talks about his experiences.
This show offers a detailed account of a flight from London to Edinburgh, seen entirely from the pilot’s perspective, covering all the planning, procedures, and in-flight experiences involved. Having seen the talk myself, I can say it's both highly entertaining and enlightening.
To reach the Church Hall, turn right off Alexandra Road (B3403) onto Church Road West, then take the next two immediate rights onto Church Circle and Guildford Road East. The hall is at the far end on the right. Parking is available at the hall and along the street.
There will be refreshments available.
