Farnborough and Guildford Group
About the event
11am to 12.30pm, Tuesday 24 March 2026
The Farnborough and Guildford Group is inviting you for a walk led by a local guide
The walk will cover the highlights of Guildford's colourful history: the castle and its royal visitors, an archbishop with a fishy past, the house that Lewis Carroll chose, Alan Turing growing up, ancient inns and churches. This walk has something for everyone.
We will meet at Tunsgate Arch, opposite the Guildhall Clock on the High Street, and will take 60 to 90 minutes.
Please note: As this trip is a guided walk, there are maximum numbers. If the limit is reached, members will be placed on a waiting list. Members wishing to join this trip should inform the contact provided by Monday 16th March.
All welcome.
