Join the York Group for an inspiring talk by Sam Shipman, Head Gardener for the National Trust gardens around York.

Sam will share the fascinating story of how award-winning garden designer Andy Sturgeon, together with the team at Beningbrough, transformed an under-used lawn, that has been part of a garden space with over 300 years of history, into a striking Mediterranean-style landscape.

This innovative redesign not only breathes new life into the historic grounds but also addresses the challenges of a changing climate, creating a beautiful, climate-resilient garden built for the future.

Don’t miss this chance to hear firsthand how heritage and sustainability came together in one of Yorkshire’s most exciting garden transformations.
