Start your journey in Toronto

Your journey will begin in the iconic city of Toronto where you’ll have two full days to explore the city at your leisure. Catch a birds-eye view of Toronto’s skyline and Lake Ontario, cruise around Toronto harbour, or take a trip to the Ice Hockey Hall of Fame. From shopping, art galleries, and museums to soaking up the night-life at amazing restaurants and bars, you can enjoy plenty of free-time to explore.

But don’t worry — if you’re the organising type who likes a more detailed plan, Canada Sky has a wide range of excursion options they can book for you for an extra charge.

Tick Niagara Falls off your bucket list

After a few days of browsing independent shops, meeting friendly locals, and finding your new favourite pancake joint in Toronto, it’s time for a full day trip to the showstopping Niagara Falls.

The famous city is home to three of the most renowned waterfalls in the world, Bridal Veil Falls, American Falls and the largest of all the Horseshoe Falls. Here you’ll enjoy a cruise right up to the falls themselves, marvelling at the cascading water and snapping some great shots of the spectacular views (and securing those all important bragging rights back home).

Followed by lunch with a view overlooking the falls, before heading to Niagara on the Lake where you’ll quickly realise why it’s referred to as “Canada’s Prettiest Town”. Here you can wander the quaint boutiques and perhaps take a break to sample the delicious local wines in one of the charming wineries.

Ottawa

Next up you’ll hop on a train (fully equipped with comfy seats and free wifi) to the capital city, Ottawa. In just over four hours you’ll pass the stunning Lake Ontario and the St Lawrence River before ending up right in the heart of the action.

When it comes to exploration there is certainly no shortage of choice in Ottawa, a city teeming with Canadian art and culture, historic sites, museums, shopping, and lush green parks. Whether you want to see it all on a guided bus, bike, or walking tour or fancy a tranquil hour and a half cruise down the Rideau Canal or the Ottawa River, you can make your Canada adventure your own.

The Thousand Islands

Your final stop before heading back to Toronto will be a cruise tour of the magnificent Thousand Islands in Kingston. Glide through the unique North American archipelago and uncover the geographical wonders and fascinating origin story of this natural phenomenon.

Spend the morning checking out the enchanting city of Kingston before traversing the serene waters where you’ll admire historic castles and lighthouses surrounded by rich biodiversity and majestic wildlife.

On a Canadian Sky holiday, your time in between the expertly planned itinerary really is your own. Whether you book ahead or embrace spontaneity, you can enjoy these stunning destinations on your own terms.
