Wholesale membership terms & conditions

Boundless by CSMA is a trading name of Motoring & Leisure Services Limited, a subsidiary of the Civil Service Motoring Association Limited, registered office Britannia House, 21 Station Street, Brighton, BN1 4DE, registered in England no: 02813598. Motoring & Leisure Services Limited is authorised and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority.

On requesting to become a member of Boundless by CSMA you are automatically agreeing to these terms and conditions and you are providing us with the appropriate consent to handle your personal information in accordance with data protection laws and our privacy notice.

Our acceptance of your request will bring into force a legally binding contract between us and these terms and conditions will form the basis of that contract through which Boundless by CSMA will deliver a service to you as a member.

Please note these terms and conditions are applicable to Boundless members whose membership fees are paid by a sponsoring organisation. Sponsored Membership - Eligibility

To be eligible for sponsored membership of Boundless by CSMA you must be a member, employee or customer of an organisation which has a formal agreement with Boundless by CSMA to make membership benefits available to you.


Membership Benefits

Sponsored Membership of Boundless by CSMA will provide you with access to a wide range of benefits.

A typical Sponsored Membership package may include:

  • Electronic copies of the Boundless magazine.
  • Full access to the Boundless website.
  • Membership of a local and special interest groups.
  • The opportunity to attend events and activities nationwide.
  • The opportunity to access a large range of partners offering member discount offers and perks on a wide variety of products and services.

We reserve the right to change the benefits that apply to Sponsored Membership of Boundless by CSMA at any time and without prior notice.

Benefits can be used by the named member only unless otherwise specified below.

  • Boundless Breaks/Leisure Retreats, Events, and Experience Bookings – the named member must be part of the booking party. If any of these benefits of membership are being purchased as a gift then the named member must be the purchaser.
  • Approved partner offers – the named member must be the purchaser and participating in the booking/service provided.
  • The provision of General Insurance products (Motor, Home, Travel, Motorcycle, Caravan, Classic car) – the benefit and therefore principle policy holder can extend to the partner, sibling, child or parent of a current member so long as they reside in the same address as the named Boundless member.
  • The provision of breakdown cover - the benefit and therefore principle policy holder can extend to the partner, sibling, child or parent of a current member so long as they reside at the same address as the named Boundless member

Any external providers of a benefit included within your membership package will have absolute discretion in relation to the provision of services, and membership of Boundless by CSMA does not guarantee that the external provider will accept an application from a member for the provision of services.

Services supplied from an external provider will be subject to the provider’s own terms and conditions, and we do not accept any liability for loss or damage suffered as a result of a fault, error or omission in the provision of these services.

We reserve the right to change our external providers without prior notice and our decision on services provided is final.

Sponsored Membership of Boundless by CSMA does not include or confer membership in company law terms of Motoring & Leisure Services Limited Boundless or its holding company (the Civil Service Motoring Association Ltd)


The Membership Contract

When you click to submit your application on line, or you fax, post, telephone or email us with details of your application, you are making an offer to subscribe to Boundless by CSMA which, if accepted by us, will result in a legally binding contract as per these terms and conditions.

At the point of renewal of your membership, your renewal payment from your sponsoring organisation is confirmation of the continued acceptance of this contract.


Online application

For online applications, you will either have sight of a confirmation page or receive an email. If you have supplied your email address, acknowledgement that your application has been received and is being processed does not yet mean that your membership is live. Membership will become live when confirmation is received from your sponsoring organisation.and payment is confirmed.


Magazine Delivery

We will make magazines available to you electronically via the website and/or the email address you notify to us when you become a member of Boundless by CSMA.

We reserve the right to change or remove the magazine without prior notice and our decision on services provided is final.


Force Majeure

Neither party shall be liable to the other for any delay or non-performance of its obligations by reason of matters beyond its control including, but not limited to, any act of terrorism, war, riot, civil commotion, compliance with any law or government order, fire, flood or storm, strikes, or any other industrial dispute, delay in transit, power failure, postal delay, or any event that cannot be reasonably be planned for or avoided.


Cancellations and Refunds

Your Boundless by CSMA membership is a rolling agreement which will automatically renew upon the anniversary of your application if the renewal premium is paid by your sponsoring organisation. You will receive a renewal notice in advance of the anniversary of your application date, informing you of your entitlement to cancel.

If you wish to cancel your Boundless by CSMA membership, you must inform us of your intention to cancel a minimum of ten working days prior to the anniversary of your application. This notice should be provided directly to us, by phone, in writing by letter, fax or e mail. This cancellation notice is applicable only to your Boundless by CSMA membership and does not affect your relationship with your sponsoring organisation.

Once renewal of your membership has occurred, it will still be possible to cancel your membership, but we are not obliged to offer a refund.

No refunds will be provided (either to you or your sponsoring organisation) if you cancel your membership during the year.

If your sponsoring organisation is no longer paying your membership premium you may be offered the opportunity to renew as a full member on payment of the appropriate fees subject to you fulfilling the full membership eligibility criteria.


Liability

Our liability to you will not extend to any membership-related benefits, goods or services provided by an external provider. We specifically exclude liability for any loss or damage suffered by you as a result of your involvement in whatever manner with an external provider.

Every effort is made to ensure the accuracy of Boundless Magazine, and any other marketing material; however, neither we nor the authors can accept liability for errors and omissions within the magazines or other promotional/marketing material.

These terms and conditions do not and shall not affect your statutory rights as a consumer.


Information Services

We use our best endeavours to ensure all information provided by us is as up to date as possible. However, you should not rely on the information provided as the sole basis for making business, legal or other decisions. You should seek appropriate independent advice before making any such decisions.


Data Protection and use of personal data

The privacy and security of your personal information is extremely important to us. For full information about how and why we use your personal data please read our privacy notice .

You are in control of what we do with your personal data. Securing your information

Information system and data security is imperative to us to ensure that we are keeping our members safe.

We carefully assess, manage and protect new and existing systems to ensure that they are up to date and secure against ever changing threats. We will also limit access to your personal data to those who have a genuine business need to access it. Those processing your data will do so only in an authorised manner and are subject to a duty of confidentiality.

All our staff complete mandatory information security and data protection training on employment and annually thereafter to reinforce responsibility and requirements set out in our information security policies.

When you trust us with your personal data we will always keep your information secure to maintain your confidentiality. We use a strong encryption when your information is stored or in transit to minimise the risk of unauthorised access or disclosure.

We also have procedures in place to deal with any suspected data security breach. We will notify you and any applicable regulator of a suspected data security breach where we are legally required to do so.

Variation

We may change these terms and conditions at any time without giving prior notice but we will make every endeavour to notify you of any changes. The most recent edition of these terms and conditions will be binding upon you. Members may exit the contract without penalty if they do not accept any proposed variation.


Prize Draw and Competition Rules

All prize draws and competitions which are associated with our offers are subject to separate terms and conditions, as written at the time of the prize draw, competition or offer. Prize draws and competitions are not open to employees of the Civil Service Motoring Association Ltd or any of its subsidiaries.


Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These terms and conditions are governed by English law. You hereby irrevocably submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts notwithstanding the jurisdiction where you are based.

If any court or competent authority decides that any of the provisions of these terms are invalid, unlawful or unenforceable to any extent, the term will, to that extent only, be severed from the remaining terms, which will continue to be valid to the fullest extent permitted by law.


Third parties

A person who is not party to these terms shall not have any rights under or in connection with them under the Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Act 1999.


Entire Agreement

These terms and conditions constitute the entire agreement between the parties in relation to their subject-matter and override any previous agreements or understandings in relation thereto.


Boundless by CSMA Brand

Use of our logo and brand identity is not permitted in any circumstances unless you are an approved partner of Boundless by CSMA, or we have granted you express permission to do so.


Queries Comments and Complaints

Responding to complaints:

If you have any queries, comments or complaints about your membership, please contact our Member Services team on 0800 669944.

We will send a written acknowledgement of the complaint to the complainant by letter or email, within five business days of its first receipt by Boundless.

We will aim to provide a final response within four weeks of receiving the complaint. Where this is not possible, a further ‘holding’ correspondence will be sent to the complainant outlining the progress of the complaint along with an indication of the timescale involved to produce a final response.

Monday to Friday: 08:00 to 18:00.

Saturday: 9:00 to 17:00.

Bank Holidays (Excluding Christmas, Boxing Day, New Year’s Day, Easter Day): 10:00 to 16:00.

Calls to Boundless may be recorded for training and quality purposes.
