The Karting Group would like to welcome you to 2 Rounds of the 2026 London Karting Championship.
The Event is open to all Boundless and CSSC Members and their families and guests irrespective of whether they are also taking part in the Championship. All levels of experience are catered for so whether you are a beginner or a seasoned veteran you will find a challenge out there on the track. Please come and enjoy the morning and afternoon racing, meet new friends and have a good time.
The Sutton circuit is a 500 meter track and runs Sodi karts.
Event Summary
Drivers: Minimum:12 - Maximum: 24
Minimum age: 16 - Drivers aged below 18 need their parents or Guardians to sign the indemnity form at the circuit and always be present throughout the event.
Please note that refreshments are not available.
Event Reception
Drivers need to arrive by 09.00 pm and on arrival all Drivers should report to the Event Organiser.
Drivers will then be directed to 'Signing On' where they will 'be kitted out (free of charge) with racing overalls, a helmet and gloves (you may bring your own if you wish but they must be approved by the Circuit).
Please wear comfortable and suitable clothing for the weather. Don’t wear anything that would upset you if it became damaged or mucky, simple jeans and a T-shirt would be fine. If you do not have proper racing shoes then trainers are the next best thing and remember you will not be allowed to race in any footwear with open toes or heels.
Following reception it’s off for a full Safety Briefing which all Drivers must attend.
Event Format: A series of Morning and afternoon sprints.
After the safety briefing Drivers may be split into two Groups depending on numbers for a 5 minute Practice/Qualifying session each. After the qualifying sessions each group will have 3 x 10 minute heats which will determine which final race they will be in. Each group will then have a 15 minute final race giving each driver a total circuit time of 50 Minutes driving in the morning session which includes a round of the Championship. The afternoon will follow a similar pattern.
Please enjoy your days karting at the Sutton circuit but please remember that all drivers must be free of alcohol, illegal substances or prescription medication.
