Join the Shropshire Group for another insightful talk this October.
Kate Cadman returns to give us an insight into the impact that the rise of the Industrial Revolution had on ordinary people.
The birth place of the Industrial Revolution is close by in Ironbridge Gorge, and would have had immense affect on those living and working in the area. For some it was a great opportunity, but others found that one sort toil was replaced by another just as hard or harder. Kate will tell us all about it.
The meeting starts at 7.30pm with members meeting over refreshments, followed by the talk starting at 8pm. New members are welcome, as are their family and friends.
