Join the Shropshire Group for another insightful talk this May.
Emma Spenser joins us to tell us all about the challenges and triumphs of the young ladies who became part of the Women's Land Army during WW2. Did your mother, aunt or grandmother get the chance to work on the land and produce vital food for the nation?
Come along and find out more, have a chat with other members before the talk begins at 8pm whilst enjoying a hot or cold drink and a biscuit or two.
If you have not attended an event before please come along and meet fellow members and find out what goes on.
Bring along family members too, and even friends...all are welcome.
