Family walking through the woods

This February half term, Sussex families can enjoy savings on a range of days out – including at Wakehurst and WWT Arundel Wetland Centre, thanks to public sector and civil service membership club Boundless.

Boundless members receive unlimited complimentary access to Wakehurst in West Sussex, as well as Kew Gardens in London, and all ten Wildfowl and Wetlands Trust sites across the country.

Membership is open to anyone working in or retired from public sector or civil service roles, including teachers, nurses, police, firefighters, council workers and more.

Families can explore 500 acres of diverse natural habitats at Wakehurst, including its Winter Garden and Westwood Lake – where kingfishers and wading birds can be spotted. This half term, additional activities at Wakehurst include drop-in sessions to learn how to build a bird feeder to take home (priced at £4.50 per feeder), plus a mesmerising flying display of birds of prey on 16th and 17th February.

At WWT Arundel Wetland Centre this half term, families can join the Big Hide Out and discover incredible wetland wildlife in the site’s bird hides, where experts will be on hand to help you explore. Tick off the birds you spot and play bird bingo or take part in craft sessions to make a bird mask.

Boundless membership also includes access to Kids Pass, which provides discounts at restaurants, cafes and attractions nationwide – from zoos to aquariums. Boundless members save up to 37 per cent on cinema tickets through the Cinema Society, including at Vue, Odeon, Cineworld and Showcase cinemas across the country.
