The Swindon Group would like to invite you to their Annual Christmas Event at our usual venue The Holiday Inn Swindon.
We’re delighted to welcome back our popular September speaker – award-winning comedian and writer Paul Kerensa (Miranda, Not Going Out) – for an evening of comedy, singalong carols, festive cheer, and professional hilarity. Join us for the original – and best – version of this uniquely popular festive hybrid: part comedy show, part carol service, all-round Christmas joy.
O little town of Swindon! All you want for Christmas is this festive show of 'hohohos' and ‘hahahas', as Paul brings his unique blend of comedy and carols. Expect singalong opportunities (ever tried Silent Night to the tune of Postman Pat?), a sleigh ride through Christmas past, and plenty of comedic tidings and joy – all wrapped up in one wonderfully festive show. More Christmassy than Bublé and Dickens in a John Lewis ad. Well, at least that's the intention.
So come prepared to join in a little festive fun with fellow members of the Swindon Boundless regulars and their guests. While this is not a cruise and we will not be setting sail, there may be some light-hearted carousing (see dictionary definition).
A buffet will be provided, and the evening will be split into two parts with an interval, during which the usual refreshments will be available and the bar will remain open. You are warmly invited to stay and socialise in the bar after the main event.
Please make the effort to arrive on time. Free parking is available, but do not forget to register your vehicle at reception upon arrival.
