Join the Swindon Group for another fascinating talk by Tony Hersh.

Tony entertains with his talks and writings. He frequently references major discoveries and missions, such as the initial findings from the James Webb Space Telescope (JWST). He has presented on topics such as "A Brief Tour of the Universe" and "Recent Discoveries in Astronomy," sharing how instruments like the JWST are increasing our understanding of the cosmos.

He will be taking us through some of the more recent findings in Astronomy and highlighting some of the mysteries and unexplained observations His recent presentations have covered topics like the universe's contents and unanswered mysteries. Additionally, he is a keen amateur astronomer who shared an image of the Northern Lights he took in Iceland in March 2024.

He is the vice chairman of Newbury Astronomical Society and has written an astronomy article for a newspaper for many years. Refreshments will be available as usual. There is also free parking but do please register your car on arrival at reception.
