Treat yourself to a day at the Foodies Festival

31 August 2024 – save up to £60*

This year, the UK’s biggest food, drink and music festival will be landing at Guildford for the first time, and Boundless will be there to enjoy it. It’s a treat-filled, fun-packed day out, whether you want to learn how to make a show-stopping cake with Great British Bake Off stars in the Baking Theatre, sample delicious street food, set your young 'uns on the foodie trail with a kids cookery session, watch MasterChef Champions, Michelin-starred and top local chefs cooking their signature summer recipes in the La Española Chefs Theatre – or just relax with a drink and enjoy the live music.

The tunes will be provided courtesy of tribute acts, covers bands and superb local groups, with Sister Sledge headlining on the day. Other attractions include silent discos, chilli-eating competitions, fairground rides, walkabout artists, drum troops, choirs, children’s activities and family-friendly areas. It’s a veritable feast for the soul.

Have a wild time at Marwell Zoo

14 September – save up to £60*

With hundreds of endangered and exotic species, and 140 acres of parkland, Marwell Zoo will keep every family member enthralled. From snow leopards and giraffes to pygmy hippos and red pandas, there are plenty of animal stars to see. Watch out for the bearded emperor tamarin, one of our personal favourites.   

Alongside dozens of enclosures, there’s the Tropical House, a multi-million pound innovative exhibit that highlights the flow of energy through life and ecosystems. Here, you can listen to the calls of the yellow-throated frogs below a cascading waterfall, admire the Linné’s two-toed sloth in the lush forest canopy and spot birds darting over the exhibit’s 70,000-litre aquarium, which is home to more than 2,500 fish.

It’s a fantastic venue for families, with five different adventure parks, feed time throughout the day, and plenty of venues offering food and drink. And the Boundless team will be on hand to help make sure you get the very best out of your day.

Step back in time at the Black Country Living Museum

28 September – save up to £51.80*

The Black Country’s industrial heritage, with all its innovation and manufacturing skills, is brought to life in the most engaging ways at this celebrated open air museum. The restored canalside village full of houses, shops and industrial workshops, costumed characters, and the sights, sounds, smells and tastes of the nineteenth and early twentieth centuries, really bring this period to life. 

As you explore the site – a prominent location in the Peaky Blinders series – you can experience life as an 1850s miner, watch a vintage film in a 1920s cinema, take a ride on a tram, take a vintage fairground ride, and taste the wares of a 1930s fish and chip shop, baker’s shop and traditional sweet shop or sup a drink in one of two pubs. Be dazzled by the Festival of Light at Longleat

16 November 2024 – save up to £80.03*

Enlightened 2024 at Colchester Castle Park 

7 December 2024 – save up to £34*

This sell-out illuminated phenomenon is returning to the magnificent Castle Park in Colchester for the third year running this winter. And with a new and reimagined trail, Enlightened 2024 is set to be the biggest, boldest and brightest year yet.

Winter solstice celebration at Jodrell Bank
