Torquay is a beautiful seaside town with plenty of attractions. Highlights include Kents Cavern, a Stone Age site offering guided tours, and Babbacombe Model Village. Torquay Harbour offers a picturesque setting with shops, cafes, and boat trips. Torre Abbey Museum, with its art galleries and gardens, is also a must-visit.

Torre Abbey Sands is perfect for swimming, while Meadfoot Beach offers a quieter spot for relaxing. The South West Coast Path provides stunning coastal views, and Cockington Country Park features traditional thatched cottages and gardens. Dartmoor National Park, a short drive away, is ideal for hiking and cycling.

Nearby attractions include Paignton Zoo, the historic Babbacombe Cliff Railway, and the Princess Theatre, which hosts various shows. You can also take a self-guided tour of the Agatha Christie Mile, celebrating the life and work of the famous author who was born in Torquay. You can also visit her holiday home, Greenway, which is a National Trust property.

For water sports, Torquay Watersports offers jet skiing, paddleboarding, and kayaking. Various operators offer boat trips along the coast, including wildlife watching and fishing excursions. Enjoy local seafood at restaurants such as The Elephant, which boasts a Michelin star, or have a traditional cream tea at one of the many cafes.

For day trips, the charming town of Dartmouth, known for its naval history and picturesque setting, is accessible by boat or car. Totnes, a historic market town with unique shops and a castle, is also worth a visit. Finally, the historic city of Exeter, with its beautiful cathedral, shopping, and museums, provides an excellent day trip option.

Stay an additional night on the Sunday before this break for the opportunity to attend the English Riviera Airshow, which is due to coincide with the break (subject to confirmation). Additional nights are available at an extra cost and subject to availability (pricing information below).
