Bournemouth offers plenty of attractions and activities for visitors. Relax on the town's famous seven miles of golden sandy beaches or enjoy water sports such as surfing, paddleboarding, and jet skiing. Bournemouth Pier is a must-visit, featuring a zip line, climbing wall, arcade, and the RockReef activity center. Stroll through the beautiful Central and Upper Gardens and don't miss the Aviary in the Lower Gardens. Keep an eye out for the seasonal events, too.

For art enthusiasts, the Russell-Cotes Art Gallery & Museum is the perfect spot, with its Victorian and early 20th-century art collection. If marine life is your interest, the Oceanarium on the seafront is a fascinating stop. Don't forget to check out what's on at the Bournemouth International Centre (BIC) for concerts, exhibitions, and seasonal events.

Nearby, Sandbanks offers beautiful sandy beaches ideal for a leisurely stroll or beach day. From Sandbanks, you can take a ferry to the Studland nature reserve, known for its pristine beaches, heathland, and diverse wildlife. Poole Harbour, one of the world's largest natural harbors, offers boat trips to Brownsea Island, famous for its red squirrels and historical significance as the site of the first Scout camp.

The New Forest National Park, a short drive from Bournemouth, offers ancient woodlands, heathlands, and open moors perfect for hiking, cycling, and horse riding. You can also amble through charming villages and keep an eye out for the wild ponies and deer.

Hengistbury Head, east of Bournemouth, provides stunning views over Christchurch Harbour and the Isle of Wight. Christchurch features a beautiful priory and castle ruins, with boat trips along the River Stour. Further afield, explore the ruins of Corfe Castle or take the scenic Swanage Railway through the Purbeck countryside. Visit the iconic Durdle Door and Lulworth Cove on the Jurassic Coast, and enjoy the traditional seaside town of Swanage.
