Thursday 11 to Thursday 18 July 2019
- Explore Liverpool
- See Antony Gormley statues
- Take a stroll along the River Dee
Anyone who has joined this rally before will know that there is much to see and do in the Merseyside area. Everybody is welcome, including newcomers, to spend a pleasant few days exploring all that Merseyside has to offer.
The site is just a three-minute drive from Hoylake Park and Ride station and a five-minute walk from Manor Road Station on the Merseyrail network. There are frequent trains to the heart of Liverpool with its iconic waterfront and Beatles connections – a modestly priced day rover ticket includes rail and bus travel all round the Merseyside and Wirral areas.
Change trains in the city and you can visit Formby, Southport, the picturesque walled city of Chester or North Wirral and the Mersey Ferry. All trains are accessible for mobility scooters and buses also stop near the site.
We hope to arrange some guided tours and walks if there is sufficient interest, including Chester, Liverpool and the Antony Gormley statues at Crosby.
Although the site does not have electric hook-ups, the price does include 24-hour access to toilets and showers, as well as use of the clubhouse hospitality room most evenings. You are free to stay as few or as many nights as you wish. No deposit is required with your booking.
