Join the York Group for a tour of the Bar Convent exhibitions.
We will meet at the Convent to start a self-guided tour of the exhibitions. There is a new Treasurer's Gallery and a recently discovered Medieval Scroll. At 2pm we will meet in the 18th century hidden Chapel to hear a talk from Sister Patricia. At 3pm we will enjoy a Cream Tea (scone with jam, clotted cream and tea or coffee) in the Atrium Cafe before heading home.
There is a lift to access the higher floors.
Unfortunately, there is no on-site parking. The nearest are the council car park on Nunnery Lane, York, YO23 1AA, or at the NCP, Queen Street, York, YO24 1AD. There are several buses which drop off and pick up on Blossom Street, including the No 3 Park and Ride from Askham Bar.
