Step into a world of wonder, illuminated by the mesmerising Festival of Light at Longleat Safari Park. It’s one of the longest running festive lights events in the UK.
This winter, Longleat is transformed into a magical realm of dazzling lights and captivating displays. Create magical memories as you step into the past with an interactive and immersive lantern trail. Walk through a great pyramid of Egypt, dodge a dinosaur’s roar, or marvel at the 10-metre high Roman Colosseum, complete with chariots and gladiators. Explore the era you want to discover as we showcase the evolution of the earth from the age of the dinosaurs to the 20th century.
Longleat Safari Park is also home to over 500 different species of animals, making it one of the most diverse wildlife collections in the UK. From majestic big cats and playful primates to exotic birds and fascinating insects, visitors can encounter a wide array of creatures from all corners of the globe.
Upgrade your ticket to include the safari drive-through and get up close to lions, giraffes, wolves and tigers, all from the comfort of your car.
At the end of the day, we’ll be holding our free prize draw, a great opportunity to win some Safari Park goodies to take home.
The Festival of Light is a sell-out event, so make sure you get your tickets in advance to avoid disappointment.
Tickets
Boundless members can book a maximum of four tickets per membership number.
You can either purchase a Festival of Light ticket or upgrade to include the Drive-through Safari.
Festival of Light only
- Boundless members can book a maximum of four tickets per membership number.
- Adults (aged 16 and over): £20 per ticket – that’s a saving of £22.95 per ticket.
- Children (aged 4 – 15): £15 per ticket – that’s a saving of £17.20 per ticket.
Festival of Light and Drive-through Safari
- Adults (aged 16 and over): £26 per ticket – that’s a saving of £26.95 per ticket.
- Children (aged 3 – 15): £19.50 per ticket – that’s a saving of £20.20 per ticket
*Saving of £80.03 compares two Boundless adult tickets and two child tickets for ‘Festival of Light only’ to the on-the-door price of two adults and two children of £150.30. Saving excludes on-site Boundless benefits.
If you are upgrading your ticket to include the Drive-through Safari, all attendees within the car will be required to have a ‘Safari and Lights’ ticket.
Please note that tickets do not include entrance to the House or Santa Express. These activities are additional for anyone visiting Longleat and will have to be booked directly with Longleat Safari Park.
Boundless tickets are only available in advance and cannot be bought on the day. Tickets are subject to availability and cannot be sold or transferred. The booking member must be present on the day and show their Boundless membership card and identification to access the park. Guests must be accompanied by the booking member.
The Boundless team attends all our events to make sure your day goes as smoothly as possible. We’ll also have our official Boundless photographer on site to capture the best moments for you, your family and friends. All photos will be available for you to download after the event. If you upload any of your own pictures to social media be sure to use the hashtag #bemoreboundless for a chance to be featured on our social pages.
By buying tickets, you’re agreeing to have your photo taken and any images used on our marketing platforms. If you’d prefer not to have your photo taken or appear on our website or social pages, please let us know when you arrive and we’ll make sure arrangements are made.

How do I get there?

Where do I park?
There is plenty of free parking on site that is within walking distance of the event. Parking is free for all visitors.
What should I do when I arrive?
When you arrive, come and see the Boundless team by the entrance and we’ll give you everything you need for the day, including your admission lanyard and entry into the prize draw.
Are there any age restrictions?
All guests will need an admission ticket. Children aged 2 and under are free and don’t need a ticket.
I have a friend or family member who wants to come as well
Great, bring them along! The only provision is that the booking must be made by a Boundless member and that everyone who attends has a valid admission ticket. The Boundless member will have to show their membership card and identification on the day and any guests will have to accompany them on arrival. Due to ticket capacity members are entitled to bring a maximum of three guests (including children).
Only tickets purchased through Boundless will entitle you to members’ day benefits. Boundless tickets must be reserved in advanced and will not be available on the day.
What time does this event start and end?
The Festival of Lights and main park activities run from 10am until 7.30pm. If you upgraded to a ‘Safari and Lights’ ticket the Drive-through Safari is open between 9:30am – 2:30pm.
Does the ticket include admission to Longleat House or the Santa Train?
Tickets for the safari or lights do not include tours of Longleat House. The house tour tickets were extremely limited and are now sold out.
If you wish to book the Santa Train, limited availability remains. Please email memberevent@boundless.co.uk to receive a booking link for the Santa Train tickets. However, tickets are selling rapidly, and while we will check availability, we cannot guarantee they will be available at the time you wish to book.
Can tickets be transferred?
Once you’ve purchased your event tickets, they can’t be transferred as a current member with valid membership card needs to be present. This is because we have a very limited number of tickets and must ensure the offer benefits Boundless members.
How accessible is the venue?
The venue has made every effort to be accessible for all, however there are some restrictions. To see the latest information visit the park’s accessibility website.
Are dogs allowed on site?
Longleat Safari Park welcomes all guide and assistance dogs (with restrictions), but pets are not permitted. Please see the accessibility link above for more details.
