With plenty of outdoor space, and a whole host of animals. Marwell Zoo is a great family day out in Hampshire. Encountering hundreds of fascinating animals along the way. From majestic leopards and tigers, playful meerkats to charming penguins, there's something to delight visitors of all ages.

With five adventure play areas scattered throughout the park, little ones can unleash their inner explorer while parents relax and soak in the stunning surroundings. Don't forget to fuel up at one of our charming cafés and keep an eye out for the animal feeds throughout the day.

At the end of the day, we’ll be holding our free prize draw – it’s a great opportunity to win some Marwell goodies to take home.

 

Tickets

Boundless members can book a maximum of four tickets per membership number:

  • Adults (aged 18 and over): £10 per ticket – that’s a saving of £15.18 per ticket
  • Children (aged 3 – 17): £10 per ticket – that’s a saving of £11.58 per ticket

*Saving of £60 compares four Boundless adult tickets to the on-the-door price of four adults of £100.72 (saving excludes on-site Boundless benefits).

Boundless tickets are only available in advance and cannot be bought on the day.

Tickets are subject to availability, non-refundable, and cannot be sold or transferred.

Fast track entrance into the zoo is from 9.30am – 12.00pm on the day. Access to the Zoo until closing, last entry is at 3.30pm.

The primary booking member must be present on the day and show their Boundless membership card and identification to access the Zoo. All guests must be accompanied by the primary booking member.

Boundless members will receive a wristband on arrival. This must be visible for the day.

The Boundless team attend all our events to make sure your day goes as smoothly as possible.

We’ll also have our official Boundless photographer on site to capture the best moments for you, your family, and friends. All photos will be available for you to download after the event. If you upload any of your own pictures to social media be sure to use the hashtag #bemoreboundless for a chance to be featured on our social pages.

By buying tickets, you’re agreeing to have your photo taken and any images used on our marketing platforms. If you’d prefer not to have your photo taken or appear on our website or social pages, please let us know when you arrive, and we’ll make sure arrangements are made.

How do I get there?

The address is Marwell Zoo, Thompson’s Lane, Winchester SO21 1JH.

Marwell Zoo is situated just off the B2177 between Colden Common and Bishops Waltham. Just follow the large brown tourist signs. If you’re planning a motorway route, then head off the M3 at J11 or the M27 at J10 (westbound) or J5 (eastbound).

Where do I park?

There is plenty of free parking on site and within walking distance. Parking is free for all visitors.

What should I do when I arrive?

When you arrive, come and see the Boundless team by the main entrance and we’ll give you everything you need for the day, including your admission lanyards, wristbands for the day and entry into the prize draw.

Are there any age restrictions?

All guests will need an admission ticket. Children aged 2 and under are free and don’t need a ticket.

I have a friend or family member who wants to come as well

Great, bring them along! The only provision is that the booking must be made by a Boundless member and that everyone who attends has a valid admission ticket. The Boundless member will have to show their membership card and identification on the day and any guests will have to accompany them on arrival. Due to ticket capacity members are entitled to bring a maximum of three guests (including children).

Only tickets purchased through Boundless will entitle you to members’ day benefits. Boundless tickets must be reserved in advanced and will not be available on the day.

What time does the day start and end?

The day runs from 10am – 5pm.

Where can I keep up to date with information ?

After purchasing your ticket you’ll get an event information email around two weeks before the event which will have all the information you need to make the most of your day.

Can tickets be transferred?

Once you’ve purchased your event tickets, they can’t be transferred as a current member with valid membership card needs to be present. This is because we have a very limited number of tickets and must ensure the offer benefits Boundless members.

How accessible is the zoo?

The venue has made every effort to be accessible for all, however there are some restrictions. For up-to-date information, visit the venue’s accessibility website.

Are dogs allowed on site?

The venue welcomes all guide and assistance dogs, but pets are not permitted. The venue ask that guests using assistance dogs visit admissions when they arrive where they will be given an Assistance dogs map and factsheet.
