The cathedral city of Gloucester is also just a 15 minutes’ drive from the hotel. There are loads of attractions to keep you entertained here, visit the impressive Cathedral which setting has been used in some of the biggest films and TV shows including Harry Potter, Mary Queen of Scots, Sherlock, Wolf Hall and Dr Who. There is also a wealth of museums to visit, such as Beatrix Potter's House, the Jet Age Museum, the National Waterways Museum, the Folk of Gloucester Museum and the Soldiers of Gloucestershire Museum.

Buses run from just outside of the hotel to both Cheltenham and Gloucester, should you prefer not to drive.

For keen walkers, there is the Cotswold Way with many local routes to explore and including, literally a high point, Cleeve Hill - the highest point in the Cotswolds. If you make it to the top the views are simply breathtaking. The Cotswold Hill Golf Club is also nearby and can be reached in about 5 minutes by car.

The picturesque village of Bourton-on-the-Water is accessible within about 30 minutes by car, here you will find the Boundless-owned Cotswold Motoring Museum (free entry for Boundless members) and the Birdland Wildlife and Safari Park. Batsford Arboretum in Moreton-in-Marsh; the Royal Gardens at Highgrove and Westonbirt National Arboretum, both near Tetbury, and the Bugatti Trust at Gotherington are a range of other attractions in the area.

Option to book an additional night's stay on Friday 25 October on a bed and breakfast rate is £100 per room based on two sharing a double or twin room. There are a maximum of 15 rooms available at this discounted rate, any rooms booked after these rooms are gone can be negotiated with the hotel directly.
