About the break

Join the Social Breaks and Holidays Group on a four night break at Redworth Hall, County Durham.

Four nights dinner, bed and breakfast.

Welcome drink reception on the first evening.

Gala dinner with a Buck's Fizz reception, entertainment and dancing on the last night.

Use of leisure club, free porterage, parking and Wi-Fi.

Set in 25 acres of garden and woodland, this stunning Jacobean Country House is the ideal base for exploring the many historic and modern attractions Durham has to offer, which is just a 30 minute drive away. Here you can visit Durham Cathedral, Ushaw Historic House, Chapels and Gardens and Crook Hall and Gardens. Beamish Open Air Museum is also located just outside of Durham.

Slightly further afield you can drive to Newcastle where you can head to the Gateshead Metrocentre for some retail therapy, take a guided tour of St James' Park, walk along the Quayside and over the Tyne Bridge.

If you feel like heading to the east coast, both Hartlepool and Sunderland are both under one hours drive away.

Closer by you can visit Auckland Castle Deer House, Barnard Castle, Egglestone Abbey, Bowes Castle and more, all English Heritage sites.

This break includes a three course, three choice dinner with coffee, as well as breakfast each day. You will also receive a welcome drink at the welcome meeting. There will be a gala dinner with a Buck's Fizz reception on the last night, along with half a bottle of wine served with dinner. Guests also have use of the leisure club, porterage and free parking.

There are a small number of accessible rooms available on request. There are also some dog friendly rooms available at an additional £10 per night.

Price

£350 per person sharing a double or twin room

Single occupancy rooms are charged at an additional £30 per room, per night.

Guests are responsible for paying their own accounts and will be asked to guarantee their reservations with a credit card number.

Guests can cancel up to 12pm the day before arrival
