This fantastic break returns for 2024! Stay 4 nights at the historic 4* hotel. Located in Great Malvern with landscaped gardens and spectacular views over the Vale of Evesham and the Malvern Hills, The Abbey Hotel is the perfect base for exploring Worcestershire, Gloucestershire and Herefordshire.

Like last year, we are delighted to say that the Abbey Hotel is offering a limited number of free upgrades to an Elgar Room for those booking early, please ensure that you request this at the time of booking.

There is plenty to see and do on this break. Just next door to the hotel is the 15th Century Abbey Gatehouse which includes a small but interesting Museum of Local History. Adjacent to this is the Priory with its beautiful architecture, which was founded in 1085. Also close by, are Priory Park and the renowned Malvern Theatres, plus a popular bar and cinema too.

You can also take a short walk from the hotel to the footpaths onto the Malvern Hills for scenic views in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, where you can also sample local spring water at St Anne's Well. Or why not head into the quaint spa town of Great Malvern and explore the small shops and cafes, as well a the Gothic Victorian train station which has a good, regular train service ideal for visiting Hereford or Worcester. Other attractions include the Chase Distillery (vodka and gin), Westons Cider Mill, Lovells and Three Choirs Vineyards, Croome Court (National Trust), The Firs Elgar Museum (National Trust), Eastnor Castle, Museum of Royal Worcester (porcelain), the historic Worcester Commandery and Picton Garden.

There are 80 working gas lights in the town which make for an atmospheric evening stroll, although please be aware that the streets are steep.

Finally for our motoring enthusiasts, you can visit the Morgan Experience Centre with a museum and factory tour, as well as the Eastnor Land Rover Experience slightly further afield. Please note that pre-booking is necessary for both places.

Included in this break are full English buffet breakfasts and 3 course, 3 choice dinners followed by tea and coffee each day. You will also receive a welcome drink on the first night. Special requirements with regards to access or diet should discussed with the hotel before booking.

Car parking is free for hotel guests, and there is also a long stay car park nearby. Guests can also collect complimentary vouchers from reception for the sauna, gym and swimming pool at the leisure complex across the park, so don't forget to bring your swimwear and a towel!

There are two fully accessible rooms available, if you require an accessible room please ensure to mention it when booking. Dogs and small caged animals are allowed in some rooms and are charged at £20 per night, but please ensure to mention this when booking as well.

£315 per person based on 2 people sharing a double or twin room.

Occupancy of a single bedded room is charged at an additional £15 per room, per night (subject to availability)

Single occupancy of a Standard Double-bedded room is charged at an additional £30 per room, per night.

Additional Elgar King Rooms are available for a supplement of £20 per room, per night

Executive Room Upgrade are available for a supplement of £40 per room, per night

Full balance to be paid 4 weeks before start date of the break. If cancelling more than 4 weeks before no cancellation charge would apply. The entire booking can be cancelled without penalty no later than 28 days prior to arrival date.
