Welcome to our October talk!

Alun Pugh, Friends’ Chair, National Federation of Cemetery Friends, will be giving a talk on ‘Living and Dying in a Victorian City’ – the story of Beckett Street Cemetery, Leeds. The Cemetery is one of the earliest publicly funded cemeteries in England and holds 180,000 people in 28,000 graves.

All members and guests are welcome. There will be complimentary tea, coffee and biscuits. Ample free parking.
