Neil Hanson’s story ‘The Inn At The Top’ tells the tale about The Highest Pub in Britain situated in the wilds of the Yorkshire Dales. His talk is an hilarious and fond ramble around The Inn, the Dales countryside and the remarkable array of local characters that frequent the pub. Ted Moult puts in an appearance in the story when the pub is featured in the Everest double glazing TV advert for its replacement windows.
