Swindon Group invite you to another fascinating free talk on "The Wilton Windmill" by Charles Baxter at The Marriott Hotel Swindon.
Set high above the village of Wilton, in the heart of the North Wessex Downs Area of Outstanding Beauty, about 9 miles south east of Marlborough in Wiltshire, Wilton Windmill is the only working windmill in Wessex and still produces wholemeal, stone-ground flour.
The Windmill is run entirely by volunteers from the Wilton Windmill Society. The talk will cover it's history and restoration fully completed in 1976. Charles will also provide details during the course of the evening of the Guedelon project in France.
Coffee and tea will be available as usual and those attending are invited to socialise in the bar afterwards. We look forward to seeing you there.
