Everything Alpaca - a talk by Liz Barlow
Liz, a farmer's daughter will give us an illustrated talk about alpacas which she started breeding in 1999.
She will explain everything about them from feed to breeding and on to shearing and processing the fibre, including insights into their South American roots in Peru.
She will answer the most common questions about these popular inquisitive creatures such as 'do they spit' and 'what is the difference between alpacas and llamas'.
This talk will be by Zoom.
